LIJF Jazz Festival Fringe 2026: - Plan 9 - Mutant Jazz 9

For the 3rd year, Mutant Jazz is co-hosting a showcase of some of Liverpool's most exciting acts from the outer limits of the Jazz Spectrum. This event is taking place at Quarry, 45 Hardman St, Liverpool L1 9AS.
A musical extravaganza not to be missed, live music starts from 9pm with sets from theatrical funk ensemble Bonk!, Chinese theatrical funk-dub jazz psych fusion outfit Tian Qiyi, Misha Gray’s Intergalactic Jazz Quintet and Grounded Thread, contemporary jazz with cello and tap-dancing ft. Alex McDowall (guitar), Pablo Sonnaillon (bass), Georgina Aasgaard (cello) and Sole Rebel UK tap-dancers.
The event will be hosted by MC Motormouf and throughout the evening there will be an all-vinyl jazz-spectrum set from DJ Copious Notes.
NB: Festival Ticket Bundle Holders will be able to attend this event for free on a guest list.
