Liverpool International Jazz Festival
Liverpool International Jazz Festival (LIJF) was established in 2013 by Liverpool Hope University, and in previous years has included performances from some of Jazz music’s leading lights. The emphasis of the Festival is on contemporary instrumental jazz in a variety of styles with a focus on presenting work from an international selection of world class artists, taking audience members on a musical journey that traverses numerous genres and cross-genres.
The forthcoming incarnation of the Festival will take place from Friday 26th - Sunday 28th Feb 2027 and will include five main Festival events in the Capstone Theatre, and also four further Liverpool International Jazz Festival Fringe events taking place in various venues around the City Centre. The Festival is sequenced so that the live music at all events (main festival and fringe) can be attended if one wished to do so. Festival tickets for individual events and Festival Bundle tickets to cover all Festival events will be on sale from 9am on Friday 30th October 2026. First tier tickets, which will be on sale until midnight on Thursday 31st December 2026, offer a significant discount on ticket prices for individual events and Festival Bundles. Festival Bundles will remain on sale until midnight on 31st January 2027, subject to availability.
